I promised I searched high and low, but could not find a solution. Is there a way to have the renderview docked into the main application window instead of floating?

It should be docked by default entering the program. And I thought that button was to undock but just fullscreens the preview in the application. I'm not even sure how you have a detached preview.
The Render View isn't dockable yet. It only exists as a separate window for now.
