hi guys,
tried myself at a sci-fi scene...quite happy with it at this point, any suggentions?
rendered completely in tg 2 and some postwork in PS
models are clone troopers by Emilio Lorenzo and the speeder by Naglfar, all downloaded from www.scifi3d.com
Great image. I take it that just the lens flare was post?
thank you...you are right about the lens flare, but the vignette and the grain are postwork as well ;)
great mood, I like this alot!
Interesting image , Dan :)
Don't know why but i kind of would prefer an animation of this more!
I also like this one. It is very hard to see the the details because of the dark mood. People, please have a closer look at this one ;D
what kind of animation do you have on your mind kadri? i've tried a simple sunrise, but im not happy with it because the sun vanishes too abruptly behind the background planet :-\
I took a closer look Ra - its still good!

Too much options!
But moving little dust clouds, subtle rotation of the planet in the background and maybe basic human movement comes to my mind .
It is up to you , Dan :)
This looks mysterious and beautiful in it's simplicity. Great mood, but I'd really like to see this without vignette and grain.
No problem hannes, here are two versions, one with only the lens flare and the second without any postwork at all ;)
i like this a lot, its a good dark sci-fi render,
it's simple, but good :)
I think you have used the lens flare very well. It does not over power the image.
I like these, but it looks much too warm for me; cooler planets and colder places are my preference.
I REALLY like this image! Very nice work. :o
Fantastic atmosphere to the picture - really makes you feel out of this world!
