The tgc is an "add scalar" placed in the terrain.
the values of the of the streaks: 4*q*(q-1) where q is one of the axis.

The profile is changed to q^2 * (1-q)^2  (my original intension).

Rotating the x,z input by a random amount gives this.
The problem with this and the previous are the vertical endpoints.
