Title: soften edge

hello folks.
here i meet a question.i want it with soft edge,but i try a lot way to feather the edge,and i can't work out.
so i hope someone can help me.thanks

If a line or square is what you are after, isn't it better to just use a rectangular simple shape shader with a "smooth step" edge profile instead of blue nodes?

(In fact, it works with bended shapes too).

The only way you can't get a soft edge in a SS shader is if you use the Stroke.

Try this. Same as SSS solution in fact.
