Sky Palace

Here's a surreal image from me. Castle is from the resource that was posted on here and tree model is sweet birch from xfrog.
Here it is on DeviantArt:
http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/57078494/
It was rendered at 2250x3000 for about 12 hours.

Nice job. I love your sky and water - they look both dramatic and realistic. The overall lighting and composition of the scene is very nice as well. Overall I would say that this is one of the best TG renders I've seen in quite some time.

Brilliant work, outstanding. My only crit if I was forced to have one is maybe the tree is a little large compared to the castle infront of it ... That said ... one of the best in a long time.

ps I guess the rock its all standing on is a very small, heavily deformed planet. ??

The atmospherics and image composition are excellent. I'm curious to know of your GI and haze density settings for this render.

Wow! While I like this a lot in every way, I wish the castle stood out more...perhaps with rock texturing. Nevertheless, this is awesome in sky, lighting, colors, water, scene setup, and sky. Great job.
So this is Disney World. Can we live here?

A really fantastic scene. I agree the tree is a bit large, and also don't think the foreground softening (DoF simulation?) works that well. But otherwise it is superb, especially the sky and lighting. Great work!

Yeah, I wasn't really planning on posting it to begin with. So the "DoF Simulation" (I realize it was poorly done) was left over from my experimentation.
Here it is without it..

Thanks for your compliment Oshyan and everyone else for your kind words. Really appreciate it!
@Saurav, haze density was 4 and it was rendered on standard GI settings (2, 2). I've attached a clip file of the atmosphere so you guys could look around it if you want. *Note there was some minor color correction on my part to make the hues a little more blue and a brighter contrast.

I would say that this is qualified for a place in the official gallery.
