Title: problem of model display

I made this tower with blender,and export it as .obj format file.import it to TG and render it .the result is show as the below image.i want to know why is it to show this.

This often happens with Blender exports.
Run you model through PoseRay and assign materials etc. Then under the Groups tab, recalculate normals and export your model (either chose a new file name or overwrite) I chose a new name just in case.

I think it has to do with extrusions sometimes or other modeling editing.

Read pages 6.7,8, 9 (the latest posts) There is discussion about triangulated faces etc. Oshyan and Matt explain how Terragen handles complex models.

This may also have to do with opacity settings. Are you sure you did not set opacity settings to zero in one of the materials by accident?

Sometimes this also happens when you import externally made object and click "yes" on a prompt whether a given object is from XFrog. This may cause a world of hurt and produce some weird effects.
