Title: Future in the Sun | SHADOW FIXED (some what).
Post by: Marty on April 14, 2017, 10:27:25 PM
Terragen mixed with a blender object render. My two first shadows from the object was just nothing like I wanted. This is getting closer to something.

Thanks. Its not hard to get a good shadow out of blender but for some reason I did not make the right shadow (and I didnt notice) and when I got the right form I did something wrong in Photoshop (and I didnt notice). Tired or something.

Nicely done.
Shadow trick. Try two suns in the same place set to half the strength of your single sun and set one to a small soft shadow, say 0.5 and the other to maybe 5 or 10. You'll have to play with the settings but you can get some pretty cook effects with the shadow deepening more towards its centre. You can use even more suns as long as the total strength is not more than the original single sun.
