Title: Help - Hole in my Cliff???

Would appreciate any ideas anyone might have.

My cliff has developed a "hole" (see attached image) and I can't seem to resolve it. Odd part is that it displays fine in the preview and only shows up during actually render (render settings are slightly greater than 'default' so don't think that's the issue). I'm certain I once read about this somewhere in the forums but I can't find it now.
So if anyone has any thoughts I would really appreciate hearing them.

Too extreme displacement, I'd say. Try displacement tolerance (planet) up 10% or more...

Perfect!
Bumped tolerance up to 1.4 and that took care of the hole.

Glad you got it fixed. Beautiful cliff, would hate to see it change drastically.
