Thats so cheap! I'd buy it just for the sake of buing but I must admit I have some actual interest to get that!
Thanks for the link!

Did you buy it, TU?  I see the bar moving slowly.  But, I've got to wonder if this is down to telling friends and family to meet the goal.  I bet everyone in mainstream FX has signed up already.   :P

No, I didn't. Maybe not yet, maybe not at all. I'm very busy at the moment, so I didn't took too much time to check it really out.
Of course it's up to spreading the word, I guess that's what this is all about.

It's up to over 50%.

Thanks for info Calico,

But I really don't know why I placed an order. What's the use?

But ok, 40$ isn't much.

Ghehe, lol :)

I'm still thinking if this is of any real use to me.
Maybe it's suitable for a TG2 workflow. Export terrain, match camera/geometry and animate in Messiah. Things like that.
Honestly, if I want to investigate time in learning and figuring all that stuff out I'd rather start with one of the more commonly used packages.

Thanks T-U,

But still, not much money for such a powerful software.

The thing is that I'm still at the beginning of learning TG2.

I'm even taking time from the games to play with TG2 (which is a good thing)  :)

The pMG software is like TG2 - it takes time to learn.  But, the workflow is logical and it's a great program.  Has a good renderer, good material control and has flexibility to work within just about any workflow.  It's used by professionals for advertising and even some very good animated films.  $40 is an awesome opportunity.  Take it.  That what I would do (did).

Yeah I bought it just to be safe. I might not need it right now, but I will surely need it later. I have character animations and such coming at some point.

I totally agree with you all,

Even if I don't intend to use it right now it's so cheap I had to buy it.

Let's hope the bar reaches 100% before they change their minds.

Many thanks to T-U for the heads up.

I've ordered the pro licence eventually.

Although 40 bucks still are 40 bucks, I thought it still might be a unique opportunity and also might be useful sometime or a kind of learning tool in respect to other disciplines than TG2.

Hmm, looks like this is still running. Or at least they are still taking money. They've taken the cash out of my account but I'm not seeing any download link ...
Definitely worth it, if its still a going deal!

Did your Paypal payment link show only the amount advertised?  If so, pMG will start sorting all of this out by this Saturday.  You'll then eventually get an email, which will tell you what you need to do.  You will need a USB drive to contain the eventual final license.

Cewl :) Yes the paypal link showed only $10 and the money is shown as left my paypay acc and my bank acc so I guess they must be still running this (or at least will be bound to honour the transactions untill they remove the buttons) Its all money in the bank from their point of view I guess. Looking forward to trying this out.
