I am doing some test renders as part of the learning curve in animation. So I had to pause the render as I had to do something with the PC. About 10 minutes later I wanted to un-pause it but it went non responsive and I had to crash the render. It happened already 2 times today. Anybody see this behavior before?
I lost nothing really as it was a super low res test anim but when I will render something higher res I would not want a freeze like this.
I have been playing with animation quite a bit recently and have pause renders several times, but (so far) I have seen no crashes such as you're describing.

Most probably the PC is the culprit I used...Tks for the feedback.
We haven't seen this here at Planetside either, but do let us know if you find a way of reliably reproducing it.

Pausing renders can (sometimes) cause the application to freeze in 4.0.04. This will be fixed in the next update.
