I had to do some difficult decisions this evening but the patience and a minimum of perfectionism won.
I looked the Adama-RAW-preview where he is looking on the watch and thought "Who and why is he waving?"
The solution: An airport car to carry his Viper to the launch tube.
Unfortunately another week of rendering for the trash-bin: This is a hangar overview where he is only standing there doing nothing:
https://1drv.ms/v/s!AvEpmvBUHi6qgqh1arUDHPJfkYFA2wI used the time that I anyway wanted to invest now to "repair" the weird normals of the trash boxes on the left side and retextured the fork-lift truck. I added the airport car (from archive3D) and I refined it with some flashing lights: A combination of high self-illumination and "real light sources for distinctive starbursts and reflections on the surfaces. Additionally I let the nozzles of the incoming viper go out earlier. That should look better.

Also I gave Cdr. Adama a more plausible movement: He walks back while the car is approaching:
