Title: Facility 149 Starburst flare test
Post by: cyphyr on September 07, 2018, 11:09:23 AM
A quick test to check out the starburst settings on reflective surfaces.

Facility 149 (https://vimeo.com/288736689)

Music is by Kevin Macleod

Objects are from Archive3d.com and NASA and the solar panels are mine.

C&C welcome.

That's pretty darn cool, the only thing that's really missing from physics is the starbursts being independant at each source, and able to rotate with index of refraction.

They should be.. probably just that each source is quite large in this render so you don't notice that they're distinct.

I'm not sure that that's a thing. The starburst is an artefact of the lens and aperture. Am I missing something?
