Post by: mikelogic on August 30, 2009, 09:31:03 AM
Hello,
first i have to say that i´m very impressed of all the nice T2 pictures made by users of this forum.
Go on using this very nice piece of software.
This one shows you my first "big" production with Terragen 2. (UPDATED)
All comments and suggestions warmly welcomed...
Cheers, Mike.

very good for a first render, indeed. :)

I like those dry roots sticking out here and there. Not so sure about the overall texture, which appears a bit wild.

Cheers,
Frank

I like the coloring. It seems too random, but the colors are great. I see you used the strata with a noise node to bend it. It may be too bent. In nature, this amount would hint at a really cataclysmic event.

As Frank said, this is really good for a first render. My stuff was mundane by comparison.

Is that an image map projection for the rock and weed texture ?
