Looks good. Some of the berg parts could benefit from some more translucency. Then this would be top notch. It's not easy to do.

great start!  though the farthest one looks a bit plastic, but that can be fixed, like njeneb said..!

I'd say, pretty much like you're doing already. :)

This example you posted seems to be done by a simple default shader's translucency settings, probably just different lighting conditions and camera POV make this example seem more 'icy'. I think you're on the right track already. No prob's, it's pretty much the same idea when it comes to shader settings. I think.
