Title: BackupFiles not overwritten on intelMacs
Post by: drongo on October 13, 2010, 09:25:18 AM
Hello,

I have some IntelMacs and some PowerPCs. On IntelMac, when I save a project to the desktop or somewhere else, I get a .tgd-file. If I save again, this one is copied to a backup-file and a new .tgd is created. But, if I save again, the old backup is not overwritten, but the actual .tgd-file is. I still have my first backup and the newst .tgd. That happens on every saving.
It works on the PowerPCs, but not on Intel.

Greetings,
Drongo

Hi Drongo,

I've just checked it and you're right. I'll look into that right now.

Jo

Hi,

Just to follow up, this seems to be due to a bug in OS X 10.6. It's working fine on OS X 10.5 and earlier. I'm looking into ways to deal with it.

Regards,

Jo
