object placement test
Very nice.
Yes, that test could easily be developed into a nice scene - it's already two-thirds of the way there.
very good start !
did you tried a bit more contrasted ?
Very good, the only thing: try it without full object rotation in the grass population, 70-150 may be enough.
mmmm... smell that grass, .tgo scent :D :D
looks good so far
@ Klas: why would you restrict rotation? Any specific reason? The more rotation, the more variety, I'd say...

I think then the grass looks like the wind is blown over it when all tops of the grasses are pointing into nearly the same direction.
Ah, of course.
Hi,
It doesn't really look like tussock as I'm used to seeing it in New Zealand, more like just ordinary tall grass. I used to live in the high country with lots of tussock roundabouts. Perhaps we have different ideas of what tussock looks like though :-).

Jo
Thanks, I'll try
object placement test 2
looking great! Cut away the top half and keep the bottom, and you'll have a nice panorama style render :)
Wonderful Grass!bravo!
wow! that looks really good !!! :)
nice work.
Very nice fake stones. And the grass is great.
The combination of grasses and stones come together beautifully with this low light.
test 3
One of the best Terragen 2 images I have seen ...outstanding work!
Very nicely lit.
Nice work. Has a old pit mine or quarry look. Very nice work on the rocks and vegetation.
The ground needs a little variation in colour and displacement or so but it is very promising , nice :)

Agree with this; but predominately. I think more color to the base color. And, if you can vary the color of the stones/rocks, displacement won't be as important.
Thanks!
Excellent grass and fake stones. Keep it going.
the lighting in the last one is exceptional!...all good work here, looking forward to seeing more!
:)
nice vegetation. I guess you noticed that you have grass going through your big stone though ^^
