Thanks...although I live in the land of snow for 6 months every year one can never have to much snow...The Inuit have hundreds of names for all the types of snow you'd run into in the North.

No problem. It is not a complete solution but when sub surface scattering is integrated someday there will be a better snow solution.

This is very similar to a attempt I just recently did. Should have used a sphere for better testing. Using it in a scene I'm testing autumn leave colouration in. Added speckles to specular.

I thought i had speckles in my shader. No worries though. I will see what you did.

It did sparkle a bit yeah, more a sheen. xD
