Just getting started. Things to do:
Break up the displacement a bit
Tinker with POV
Change up Rocks
Tinker w/ Lighting / mood maybe
Tinker with everything ;)
A very fine start.
The rock face looks a little too rough to my eyes and the scale is very uniform.
I do like the sea mist.
wow great start! ;)
WIP
Great mood right from the start!
Cool already. Maybe we should have said that WIP's are obligatory! Great following these, it'll drive the other contestants to even greater heights (literally) ;)
Yes these are gonna rock, looking good Danny!
Determined to enter this...
Should be able to cobble something together in 3 months right?
:)
v3
Mmmm...
Put some secularity on there and you got a wet mud cliff :)

Don't know about that but it sure is a reminder that atmospherics too are an important part of a render... Love that fog bank, Danny!
V3 doesn't look really convincing to me, but the previous ones look great!!
Inspiring....nuff said...off to work now heh heh
Kind of Back to square one, The v3 the Sci-Fi warped one wasn't turning into anything special.
Your ability to compose a scene....I know you are just teasing us! First rendered image ...wonderful!
Clouds, veg and a high res render....

You mean finish the render Mick ;) Lacking time right now. I hope to get something more finalized, Or perhaps I will play this close to the vest until 04/10

You wouldn't be the only one. I think I've seen maybe 7 out of 25 potential entrants posting something. So far....
Looking forward to seeing some more.
Update
Looking pretty good Danny.
Epic. :)
Got a serious case of vertigo looking at these cliffs...
Guess "Nice job!" is a bit weird now but nevertheless!
Pretty monumental view!
Vertigo indeed! :)
A great up date!
I have to have some C&C; I indeed like the downward looking POV, but IMO the rocks and clouds are way too 'busy' on the eyes. You'd need some softer areas, and focus on some important areas that have more contrast.
