Hoping to be in the right topic.
:)
Hum. ^^
Not sure what is the grey stuff there?
Typical Iceland! ;) :(
I guess you need something else, Bastien.

Yes. ^^
Next. :)
getting icelandic... :)
keep going man!
snow. :D
Those clouds are funny. Did you paint them?
Ces nuages sont drôles. Avez-vous les peindre?
Euh, non seulement en power fractal et les nuages. ;)
Euh, not only in power fractal and clouds. ;)

I liked this one, "Texture-challenge.jpg"
Real ? Or not ? :)
I really dig this, some additional work on the shore line with higher render settings this would look pretty awesome. Solid place to start right here!
:)
Is good sign ? If, we says nothing ? ???
Yes this last one is very good keep pushing.
okay
Maybe darken the clouds from the crater and reduce waves on the lake. But you're on your way, pretty dramatic image so far.
Comme cela ?
Yes, but the former clouds were better.
Là, is good ? :)
Yes, now maybe darken those clouds on the left a bit for more drama (their color maybe from 0.25 to 0.1), and I would maybe reduce reflection on the lake to 0.7-0.8.
comme ça ?
Yes.
A powerful image. I feel the snow could be a little brighter perhaps?
I'm thought not, but snow the fund. ;)
It is always nice to read your comments ;D (nothing personal ;) )
I didn't think about it but snow is melting.
(I speak bad in english, and google translate. Sorry.) :-[ :) ;)
Don't apologise, I don't speak French well at all.
Yeah, no problem at all, Bastien. It's just sometimes funny to read the google transcripts.
I like the updated srf variation.. alot. Just a few suggestions if I may; some additional displacements (PF & or redirect) as well as more color variation on your rock base. The stock grey is a but flat compared to the rest of the image. Also bit of contrast in the effects tab will go a long way in an image like this and last but not least some higher render settings, AA and GI srf details. These are pretty simple ways to get this image popping. Looks promising. Good luck my friend ^^
This last one is the best!
I like this one, I agree with Danny about the surfaces and displacement, also some lighting angle change, maybe lower the sun and create some more shadow to increase the drama?
My French is bad... Google translate is fun sometimes
Merci Bastien,
Bon chance!
Jason
:)
Comme ça ?
Excellent, coming along nicely.
Je sais pas, si c'est mieux. Mais, je montre quand même. :)
Retouché sur photoshop, mais je pense pas qu'on à le droit.
Retouched on photoshop, but I think no one in the right. ::)
The added PW has helped out a lot in this, that said the black scattered cloud is a bit distracting. I would suggest lightening that up a bit as well as revisiting the far tree population as it doesn't look natural IMHO. 1 more suggestion if I may is work the shoreline around the lake. Good luck my friend
Good luck with the final Bastien, you have worked hard and progressed far.... The end is close!
Salut
Jason
