Title: Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Edit, Colour Correction and Audio
Post by: penboack on April 25, 2017, 03:37:42 PM
A very interesting and impressive new version.
I'm very interested to see that they have integrating Fairlight Audio. Fairlight Audio pretty much invented modern sampling. Blackmagic Design acquired Fairlight Audio in 2016.

I like this dig at their competitors in their marketing.

"Own DaVinci Resolve Studio for almost half the cost of a cloud subscription!"

They are pricing it at 299 USD.

I hope they do well with this.

I've recently started using the free version of Blackmagic Design Fusion 8 for compositing renders and it works very well, much better than Adobe After Effects. In many ways it is comparable to Nuke.
