Title: Ozone
Post by: Dune on July 02, 2017, 02:31:57 AM
Has anyone tried this? http://www.ozone-plugin.com/ (http://www.ozone-plugin.com/) If so, is it any good (and fast!)?

That's just Vue's atmosphere system as a plugin, and if I recall it hasn't been updated for some time (2015 I guess is the last version).

Yes, I believe so. But is it any good is what I'd like to know. You know I'm a TG passionate, but the nicer clouds take so much time that a fast and good method to comp in clouds of the competitor  :P would suit me in certain circumstances. But they need to be realistic, awesome and fast!

I'm afraid you can only have two out of three options, fast and realistic but not awesome etc. :-\
There was a discussion about the use of denoisers on this forum a while ago. Couldn't you render the clouds in Terragen separately with lower quality settings and then denoise them?

They have a personal learning edition that never expires.

Yes I know, but watermarked. But I thought I'd find out more first, before installing. But you may be right about all you say.
