Hi,
Just for fun. I don't know why, but I just love these clay renders people are making
with other software's, so I decided to make my own with Terragen :)
Hope you like it.

Great and cool effect!
neat idea!
:)
Really nice! Now I'm curious what it would look like with proper shaders. :D

It's not finished, but here is the one with proper shaders ;)

A nice one! Nicer with proper shaders :)

Ohh...this is very nice!
As I said before, great composition, with or without the aurora :) Great use of resources!
I wanna create snow like this for my scene:

I just can't figure this out. Anyone wanna help my a little bit?

Try this link for dandel0's Snow Shaders

Theoretically you'd have to start from a fairly smooth surface before compute terrain (not rougher than your snow), and make a hard pf mask (low color roughness) covering almost everything, with only hard black patches where you want no snow. Then mask a snowy colored surface shader (after the compute terrain and after terrain small displacements/colors) with this pf, and use the offset to smooth that layer and blow up the snow.
Looking great... awaiting the next update eagerly ! :)
Getting some results with displaced snow. I know there are some strange displacements in some places, but this
is the closest I've gotten on making deep snow. I used dandel0's Snow Shader and tweaked it a little.
Really wish there was an easy way to make deep snow in Terragen.

Does look like you're heading in the right direction.
Yeah very promising!
Cool scene(s)! 8)
Nice work! I want to see more :D
Edit: can be a singular way to make GI tests maybe(?
Yeah! It's one way I've used it with other software's, but Terragen does a pretty nice job with that anyway. It's not like you get any dirty spaces in a corner where you can see you have to fix the GI. Terragen's GI is pretty nice. Also when everything is light grey, the GI will look a lot different compared with proper sharers.
