central mountain from Gaea
Nothing terribly original here, but it does show what can be done with very basic cloud fractals, the vortex warp shader on that fractal, and variations on the land mass PF. Took far longer to render on my Jurrassic 16 core home box than it did to set up. Part of a longer helicopter POV flyover of the mountain.
BTW, to set up the camera move, I used the new microexporter with the UV map. Made it a hell of a lot easier. Nicely done, Professor Fairclough.
NICELY DONE! Those are the vistas we have anticipated! :)
Very nice render!
Wow, very cool (!) and realistic!
Just: WOW!
Very nice
Love the camera angle for the cloud cutoff and terrain.
echo all the WOW posts...great image.
Another WOW post! Very realistc. Looks like a view from a plane.
Love the realism!

Heh heh heh, I've done that more than once.
Chilly :)
Very well realized, did you say it was part of an animation? Looking forward to see more :)
