I like the effect of water. It looks like a thin layer of ice is covering it. The canoe seems to be imbricated in one of the rock.

Oh, ok, there are perspective effects that are sometimes misleading.

Really like the mountains but...

...it's lacking lens flare. With the sun like that I haven't met a lens that didn't flare to some degree. I find that adding in the flaws that would occur with a real camera adds to the realism of scenes quite a lot.

Well that depends on the aim of the creator. Is it 'photo real' or actual with my eyes real like you're standing there just looking at whatever. I mostly prefer the latter myself.
