Thanks my friend!
I always change programs every one to two months to stay in practice. After a few works in Vue 2016, I will now realize my ideas in Terragen again. Here are some of my recent Vue projects:
Great News!
Before Christmas came the request of the Digital Art Live Magazine for a deep interview, I am very happy about the appearance of the wonderful article in which also some of my favorite pictures are represented:

May I say congratulations!!!!! Wonderful article! :)
I add my congratulations...
Thank you so much friends and have a nice Weekend! :)

Thanks a lot my friend!
In Blender, I designed another floating vehicle and rendered it to TG 4
Pretty cool!
Looks great. And congrats to your interview!!
Some of your floating vehicles remind me of the objects in Paul Klee's drawings, brought to life. Very dreamlike and surreal.

Paul Klee...that's it! Been trying to make that association since I first started seeing this lovely surrealism....thanks man

Verrrry good. So realistic I could not get my arrow to navigate closer in image 2. That point of view really draws the eye for sure! Excellent terrain!

I love this texture-derived and fractal-influenced Terrain :)
Since I like the textures so well with which I influence my landscapes, I started in Blender to recreate these as 3D objects, here is the first of them.
With this, the surreal mountains of the last picture were created.

Have a nice morning with the floating rock! :)
I worked here for the first time with displacement of an octrahedron in Terragen 4 to create the rock.
Of course, this has to be a lot more surreal, but I'm glad that you can create great floating rocks in this way
So thank you much "Beep the Meep" for the tip in this thread:

Orakum / Sunrise
"Orakum" is a fascinating land with a fractal landscape, as entire mountains grow out of the earth, and their mysterious energy lets surreal shapes float in the sky or glide gently over abstract deserts.
When I bought "Riven" for my PS one a couple of years ago, I had no idea that this game and also Myst, which I later assumed would affect my works so much.
My landscapes are created with Terragen 4 and Blender 3D
The fractal mountains are formed by mixing Mandelbulber3D maps with fractal shaders from Terragen 4.
the floating master rock
After the first exercises, I have now created a surreal work, it is fascinating what you can do everything, the floating master rock is often seen in the morning in "Orakum", there he floats to the next inn, yes ... rocks are hungry. .. on small rocks of course.
I've added 2 more surface layers, in camera projection, one with bricks and one with green switching board ... a little toned down but they complete the picture.
Now I have to consider adding such a rock into the "Orakum" landscape :)
New tests with TG 4 and Blender / Makehuman
Wips Project Orakum
Time to continue working with Orakum.
But until I can express my imagination as I imagine it, work is still needed in TG and Blender
Laika and Gizmo are waiting for spring
It is not created with Terragen, but I would like to post something happy.
Very nice renders! Your posts always make us happy! My two cats are also tiring of winter's slow departure. Our weather is spring one day, back to winter the next. :)

Thank you very much my friend!
With us in Bavaria it is very busy with the spring, soon is Easter and there are still snow remains on the dragon hill.
We are happy to have our two dogs, they help us over the worries of everyday life.
Greetings to your cats my dear friend!
Beautiful dogs, great photo :)

Great! Is this the result of your education? Were you forced to build clocks and watches as a child? I say this in fun, as I find everything so amazing! :)

Thanks a lot my friend and have a nice week!
I love gears and watches, but also machines, that is probably because I learned to be a mechanic and later worked as a technical draftsman in mechanical engineering. That still influences my pictures.

Since my English is not good, I have a question, what is a "coffee table book"
As it is mostly raining here in Bavaria, I have done a somewhat happier picture in TG, not as surreal as usual ;)

That's a really great idea. There are websites he could have them all printed, write up some cool little descriptions and such. I think it'd sell really well on those online shops.

Really like this one a lot. Definitely wallpaper quality.
what is a "coffee table book"
A coffee table is a small table usually placed in front of a living room couch/sofa/chair and this type of book is usually hardbound containing art or other images/drawings.
Like this: http://tinyurl.com/yao2my6m
Thank you much for the explanation and the tips! :)
I understand that with the book on the coffee table I know only from a hotel.
I should have googled it, but today I am very confused, so thanks for the link!

Happy Easter my friends!

surreal floater / male
Continue with the project "Orakum"
I set the UV of the floater in Blender (UV processing new objects) and now in Terragen the materials added and rendered. However, not all UV used but some with render camera projection mixed with UV.
I mix each material from two images, one being the main image and the other providing light shading. The material is influenced by several fractal nodes, which produce a slight basic tone. In the Planetside forum I have posted these nodes for TG:
https://planetside.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,22341.msg225181.html#msg225181
Beautiful wife and smart Laika! You say Laika.....Li ka or Li e ka?
I show you Mr. Sleeping Cat....Razzle Dazzle
When you are making object in Blender and exporting...Do you always use Blender Render and not Cycles Render? Do your materials export without using a program like Poseray to assign material? I must learn more blender about mtl text file.
Oh yes, great images! :)
So cute your Razzle Dazzle my friend, thanks for posting!
I take Blenderrender for export and there I fix the materials and UV developments with name and color to distinguish them better. Then simply export as an object and save.
In Terragen I throw the basic shader of the object the TG produced out and replaced it with my rust - stone shader which I adjust depending on the material, so very easily.
We say "Leika"

Yes my friend :)
There are days when you want to be somewhere else, just not in reality.
Every one of us has to bear his bounty and the older we get, the heavier it weighs on our shoulders, but it is up to us to balance that burden with our wisdom and charity. Because at some point the last curtain will fall for us and we will look back on our lives.
And I do not believe that self-pity takes us or our partner, even though casualties weigh heavily, so they must be balanced, with courage, strength and faith.
Dedicated to my parents and father in law who have gone to heaven as well as those who miss their parents ...
Sad and nice.
