Post by: Jo Kariboo on March 22, 2016, 01:05:20 AM
Not certain that all the vegetations objects and others objects are accepted of these two pictures?
Said it me if it is not.
Thank you
Pierre

Nice. I like the second one too. The rock walls look better from a distance.

It's always a pleasure to see your work!  :)  I'll join the consensus: the second one for sure is a keeper!

I added plants and object. Here is the list now for the following images. Hoping that it conforms to your settlement. As I mentioned earlier this Traid. Feel free to tell me if some of the objects can not be submitted for this contest.
Thank you

vegetations: Xfrog, Sylva 3D, Ade Levi, Mr. Lampost, Christ (for the moss)
rocks objects: Chris Stein and Upon Infinity.
birds Hannes
the ship http://www.domawe.net/2015/03/ship-free-3d-model-download.html (http://www.domawe.net/2015/03/ship-free-3d-model-download.html)

I forgot to eliminate the long title of each pictures.
Look at the end of the title ex. cam2 etc.
Thank you!

So far only Speed Tree objects aren't allowed unless PS have made an arrangement since this first came up so you should be O K with all that stuff...they either have or don't need licenses for all that stuff.

Very natural renders. Still have to watch them in FSP, but even like this they look very cool.

The render time for this series 3000 x 1500 (D.8 A.7) ultra qual. for vegetation. 6hrs and varies between 9am .. I know that for this contest I could present images of 2000x1000 and less detail, but since I run the render before going to bed or going to work, I prefer to have a little more detail in the pictures. I find it easier to judge corrections made.

To see the pictures in full quality... I would like to also see them in top quality but I feel that VR This could take several days.

Thanks Jo.
I like to render them bigger too. I tried to render one at 5000x2500 and after 20 hours it is only nearly half of it finished.
I will pause and render the lower half at half that quality and then comp those renders.
Wanted to see how it looks at that resolution and how long it takes.
I won't render them at that resolution until the challenge ends.
Good that we only need to render at lower quality. This could take quite a while.
Made some models between so nothing is lost.

These last two are great. The brightness of the sunlight is quite good. The perspectives work well. And of course seeing all of the vegetation.

le lac clair (title)

Vegetations: Xfrog, wally, silva 3d, chris, Ulco.
fish: freebee
Small fish are good depth, in terms of large, have more time I would put them deeper. This may be due to the resolution of the image but they may seem out of the water though they are underwater.

Great snow, and very realistic placement of the trees!
