Hi guys,
found a few minutes this evening to render something, although nothing too complicated and labor-intensive, hehe. Sorry for nothing having much time lately to both render stuff and comment a lot on your posts :(
Well, I made this, turned out not too bad. It's based off the "milk and honey sunset" preset, although I have fiddled with it alot. I guess it's safe to say that generally the atmosphere is still original and the upper cirrus layer. I may go back to this at one point and render in slightly higher quality.
Actually, the German Terragen contest inspired me making this, as their current contest is about sunsets. I just don't like making images "in the dark" and not showing it to anyone until the contest is over :) ... guess that's just me.
Cheers and enjoy,
Frank
I think it looks like it is photographed and a little retouched ! In short i like it :)
yeah he photoshopped' the tree and bird. Gotcha. :D :D :D :D

Frank should knows better :)
It looks quite painterly to me.
yeah it's indeed rather painterly (which I like). No photoshopped elements, all rendered. Dune's Gull http://store.nwdanet.com/terragen2store/13-objects/25-other-objects.html
and one random tree from an xfrog library.
Cheers,
Frank
Holy shit that was a nice image. Love the colours.
Looks nice. Would love to see it at higher quality.
