IN an interesting link to this thread on the Hudson River School (http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=10043.0), the guy who photographed this, Patrick Smith, (http://www.patricksmithphotography.com - some very nice work) has an ebook out that looks at the influence of Landscape painting on photography, including, of course, the Hudson River School!

The Hudson River is not too far away from where I live. Many of the local landscapes of my area have strong influence from this group/form. I am trying to get to the point where my renders reflect this also.
