I get back on an old render I made and try to improve it. Trying to express something...
I don't think it will be the final shot but i am not sure where it will go next so...
here is an almost finished version :p

Thanks to all the vegetation modelers in here ^^
I forgot to mention that I did the starfield by modifying moodflow's starfield.

This reminds me of the ecology posters in the 1970's. Some of them were really cool. This has that cool look.

Great image, Seth. Perhaps something like the attached (simple, I cannot upload a larger one) real-3D-grass is what might be helpful for such a small world. It grows sideways as well as downward, etc. I made it (along with some others) for overhanging rocks, etc.
