Managed to complete this render. OK I admit it, I had to cheat a little. As you remember I had posted a previous picture that was rendered at 0.25 600x300, with the promise of coming back with a higher detailed render. It turned out that as I increased the resolution and detail, the white foam/surf disappeared into the surface and the shadows became particularly uniform...
So I cheated - ended up rendering the sea in a lower detail, the sky in higher detail (0.7) and had to use Photoshop to mask the two together.
I hope you like the end-result.

Hehe...I can see that the quality of the sea is questionable. That picture is very good, and I love the angle - it's very interesting.
