Title: "New" kind of noise
Post by: domdib on June 24, 2010, 08:03:24 AM
Ken Perlin's new noise: http://mrl.nyu.edu/~perlin/homepage2006/simplex_noise/index.html (seen on Reddit)

Actually, when I checked out Wikipedia on simplex noise, it looks like he made this in Edit 2001. But this guy sure has a fertile imagination!

Yeah, that gets annoying. Click the soccer (football outside the US) ball on YouTube videos. It also played alongside a clip from Dumb & Dumber on 4chan's /b/ ("Random") board (don't ask):
Hey, wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?
*vuvuzela starts playing for a while*
*repeats*
There was a :stopsound: or something to stop the sound clip. I tried it but it didn't work. I had to leave /b/.
