Title: I want to model the island of Barbados - can any one advise
Post by: cathalob on March 16, 2007, 06:20:57 AM
Hi, I have used Terragen intermittedly over the years but not enough to produce a really good image. I am working on an animation of a development in Barbados. I have taken still images of the island off Google Earth, but these are not great quality, is there any way some one can give me some ideas as to how to model an actual island based on aerial photo.

Really appreciate any assistance

Cathal

Well, I don't know based on aerial photo, but you could use a Heightfield DEM of Barbados and let Terragen read that :)

Here's a great site that has photos of a complete aerial tour of Barbados - http://barbadosphotogallery.com/aerial10.htm - maybe they'll be useful. :)
