It's been confirmed. Ann Widdecombe is to be a contestant in Strictly Come Dancing.
I don't think she'll have the staying power of John Sergeant, although she might provide us with one or two belly laughs before she gets the heave-ho. And I hope she outlasts the 72 year-old poison dwarf, Paul Daniels. ;D
