Title: Mount Carmel
Post by: Henry Blewer on September 16, 2010, 03:20:46 AM
A render with detail of 0.325 and AA of 4. Just testing the lighting and object populations.

The lighting and pops look good. Perhaps some more detail in the surfacing? And then, up the detail!

I used the same render settings as before. Marc Gebhart's generic pines have been added.
I adjusted the image using Corel Paint because I forgot to adjust the exposure in the render camera; again...
It would be a great feature to be able to do exposure, gamma, and contrast adjustments using a rendered image from within Terragen 2.

Well, if you are saving and using the .exr output TG2 does not include any contrast or gamma adjustments anyway, all of that has to be done in whatever program you open the .exr files in.  The exposure part however affects so many different aspects of the scene that just doing a postwork fix would not give you the same results.

The lighting appears somewhat diffused - maybe try a few re-seeds with your clouds. The composition is great.
