just a quick sketch after following the very excellent tutorial at: http://en.tgblog.de/?p=26 (http://en.tgblog.de/?p=26) by Nikita (thanks!) I made some refinements to the rock surfaces etc to taste, and will explore some more and re post what I cook up with higher atmo samples etc etc...
minor pw=levels/saturation/exposure etc...
really enjoying the possibilities here,,,thanks for dropping by!

Nice start - look forward to developments.
Looks nice :)
lookin' good so far :)
better lighting & surfacing would be a good improvement i thinks.
thanks folks, @zaai999 any suggestions as how you might improve the lighting, it is a difficult scene to balance...
edit: i was also quite pleased with the rock walls, maybe a few details/colours/specularity additions though...
I like this a lot. My suggestions would be to put the sun up overhead (60 degrees maybe); hopefully some rays beaming through; and, make the stone color reddish yellow/orange. Place some fake stones on the floor (large and some small).
This is a great project - looking forward to your progress.
Looking good. Perhaps some fake stones to the ground? I'd imagine some rocks breaking from the overhangs and falling to the ground.
