Yes! Dave's a great rocker IMHO.
Check this out: "Foo Fighters Return, Dave Grohl Recruits Krist Novoselic"
Novoselic was the bass player for Nirvana! Should be awesome!

I quite like them but I can't say I have bought any of their albums, whereas, I have bought every Nirvana album. My opinion is that Dave Grohl belongs behind a drumkit. Even if he isn't the most intricate drummer and, a far more educated musician/singer than KC ever was, I still can't get into the FF, lots of my friends are, they're a bit too mainstream to grab my attention, or something.

The Mars Volta (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrwMMF2QS14) are the band of the millennium!

I agree check Dave out in "Them Crooked Vultures". He just rocks in that band. Its got the John Paul Jones and Josh Homme as well. Though Taylor Hawkins is a better drummer than Dave surprisingly. I mean you can't stop drumming and have a second rate drummer in his situation.  ;D
