Title: Why straight lines through the rendered landscape?
Post by: DVA99 on November 02, 2010, 10:55:58 AM
Hi,

Since I received a lot of help with my last problem (grain/noise in the atmosphere) I thought I would try to ask for help again.

I have the non-commercial TG2 so far.

This time it's really strange. After rendering the image looks like it has been folded and then unfolded in some places.
When I disable the cumulus layer and then render the "lines" disappears.

I bet it's a newbie problem but I can't get rid of the "error".

Here is a few of the parameters that might be of interest:

AA:3
Detail: 0.7
Atmosphere samples: 128
Cloud quality cumulus: 1

Thanks in advance

Set the 'acceleration cache' in the cloud layer to 'none - highest detail'. That should sort the problem.

Thanks dandelO!

That did the trick. Never had to use that option before but...

I also take this opportunity to say thanks for all the object, clip and tgd files I have downloaded from your site. Very appreciated.

Thanks again
