Title: Hungarian Alps
Post by: Rudolfking on November 26, 2010, 03:13:25 PM
A "pastoral scene" for Ashundar (terragen.org) competition, but a "bit" late (October Contest).
Render time was ~10 hours (6-core system, just because of Terragen2 :) ).

Lovely, Great sense of epic scale and the vegetation is done really well.

It is a great scene, very photographic, but there's something nagging.... the foreground grass and the trees seem mismatched. When looking at the grass, the trees behind it seem very very small, or when looking at the trees, the grass seems very very high. I realize there's supposed to be a hill in front and another series of hills (much) further away, but that distance isn't clear. If you get my point.
