An imaginary place depicted to be somewhere in the rugged Canadian Rockies.
The Larch tree model by 'dandelO' is an interesting conifer wherein it acts as a deciduous tree losing its needles in the late fall. Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larch .
The small, low pines and a few dry shrub models by Walli.
If there is any interest in the .tgd file which contains two clip files I created - one for the terrain; one for the shaders - I will post it.

beautiful work Bob, details here are perfect!
good job but I think you should tweak the pov a little bit so the tree on the top of the hill would not be cut in half :)

Thank you Franck, I agree with your suggestion, I should have zoomed back a little to let the tree into the view.
Very nice image, I like the lighting and the way it plays through the larches. I agree with the above, and while you're at it; perhaps a little small scale displacement in the rocks at the very front? Looks like rough going there!

Thanks Ulco, I have already started another project using the same .tgd. It will probably be after Christmas before it is finished.
