Some of you have already seen the thread where all of this started.
I have worked a little more on it and decided to try and finish it.
Always liked following WIP threads so why not make my own :)
I know it's a little dark, but it's late and I don't have time for more tonight.

Terje
There's a lot of banding in the sky, but the mountain shapes and snow are terrific. Sunset colors also awesome.

GREAT terrain and snow and light. I'm particularly envious of the snow. Why is it so smooth in these large patches? Is it because the terrain is smooth where the snow is, or is this some mysterious intersect underlying trick or other witchery? ;)
Cheers,
Frank
Hi Frank,
It's just the terrain that is smooth in those areas. You can download the World Machine 2 file from this thread right here (http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=11295.30)

thank you Sjefen!
Done some more work on this.
Slow process, but it's at least moving forward ;)

Looking very good. The tree scale is perfect.
Still working on the vegetations.
There are some bugs with the surface layer when
using the intersect underlying and smoothing effect.
Is there somebody else that have noticed this?

Terje
I got some new ideas for this project and have worked a little more on the mountains. I'll post some more images later.

A screenshot from World Machine. As you can see, I've been working a little with the terrain. I think I finally have the terrain look I've been trying to reproduce with WM for some time now.
There are still some artifacts with on the mesh, but they're not gonna be visible in the Terragen render anyway so I'm not gonna work more on getting rid of those unless somebody here knows a clever solution.

Terje
very nice terrain!!
Thank you dhavalmistry :)
WM is a fantastic software. I can only imagine how it would be if WM2 would be
implanted to TG2 :P. If they also did that with Xfrog TG would beat Vue anytime ;D
