This is actually from a real place where we have a winter cabin. Looks like it's in the middle of nowhere on this POV. :D
I have used DandelO's snow tgc for this, but Im not sure if I got it working in the right way...
Im also wondering about the DEM data used in Terragen. The sea that can be seen in front of the mountain is at 523m above sea. But when I have been trying to set the water level parameter to say 524m, it does not cover all areas that should be covered. Is this because of the DEM resolution or?? Its a 50m dem
pretty...
I think the 50m dem means that it has details /as small as/ 50m...so yeah, I think that setting the water level to 524 will reveal some of the imprecision...
Thanks Goldfarb! I guess I have to get some better resolution DEM's if I want to create more realistic views.
Another thing to consider as well is that most DEM data does not include lake/sea depths, so you often have to carve out your water areas.
Thanks for the info RArcher!
I have worked with the same area doing some different skies(northern lights) and adding some trees. I have also used DandelO's snow shader. Thanks!!
