Title: Siege of the Diamond
Post by: cbest on January 26, 2011, 10:31:33 PM
This is my short film, Siege of the Diamond. Made in Blender 3d. It took 7 days to render and 10 hours to model, texture, and animate on a 2.6 gigahertz computer with about 2 gigabytes of RAM. Each average frame took about 11 minutes to render. Thank you for watching. I have a link to my website and to Vimeo.

Nice work. The only thing I would have made different would be to add small tumble rotations to the crystals.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that but I decided that was too much work. There may be a shortcut to do it rather than making keyframes for each rotation but I don't know it.  :)
