Title: Some question about perspective
Post by: midi on February 20, 2011, 07:22:59 AM
Hi!

I'm new here and this Terragen is new for me. I just want to know how to change "bird perspective" to "land perspective"?

Thanks!

You mean move the camera? Definitely read this little chapter about the user interface http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=6

It's a bit outdated, but camera movement is still the same.
Generally you would click into the preview window, then press ALT on your keyboard and move the mouse with the left or the right mouse button pressed. There's more informaiton behind that link.

Cheers,
Frank

In the bottom left corner of the 3D preview window is an icon of a camera with an arrow under it.  You have to hit that button in order to set the render view to the current view.  Otherwise, you are just moving the current view to adjust (and get perspective on) your scene.
