Title: Wegerichland
Post by: Naoo on February 21, 2011, 01:01:47 PM
Hi

I made some little Grasses with Blender.
Here is a test-render of my first grass and Wegerich (sorry, I don't know the english word).

The beautiful tree is not from me (thanks to dandelO).

Very nice and calm mood for a test render ... an inviting scenery. I like the grass it looks very convincing :)

I like the grass model also. I tried making some grass in Blender also, but never got it to look right...

It probably was not the center of your attention, but I really like the background and how the clouds blend in with the atmosphere.

I think the grasses all work well together. If it was a little brighter it would 'pop' more maybe.

That's looking great, Naoo. Definitely the best one yet, the small, finer grasses work great with the larger, coarser ones very well.
Reminds me of home, like a very bleak and Scottish cloudy day. :)

very nice.  I'm enjoying much the yellow dry look mixed in.

Hi

Here is the version #5...
- new tree from Xfrog (size fits better to the grass, I think).
- terrain not so flat
- grass distribution changes

Looks good. I like the tree. The grass is better also, but I liked the last version's distribution also.
