Title: Snowy
Post by: yossam on March 10, 2011, 09:34:57 PM
While looking at choronrs' file I decided to do a render without the night sky and pretty colors. It definetly renders faster. This is not his scene file........just something I threw together. Something about this I like, something I don't like. Just can't figure out what it is. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the .tgd and .ter choronr.

I would try lighting the cloud tops more. I think the cloud edges could be a little sharper also.
Maybe add some bare trees?

I agree with everything you suggested. Right now, the clouds look like balls of lint.

Thanks

They aren't that bad.  ;) Snow clouds are often less sharp than rain clouds.

Next time it snows, look at the clouds. The snow flakes falling from them makes them appear quite soft.
