Title: Asteroids

But, if we could just export our asteroids from Terragen, ours would be a major improvement on just about everything I've seen so far.

Tu peux très bien le faire sous terragen 2, directement.

Thanks.  I know how to create an asteroid (see http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=3643.0).  What I'd like to have is a way for us to export this geometry into other 3D applications.

Merci. Je sais comment créer un astéroïde (voila - http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=3643.0).  Ce que j'aimerais avoir, c'est une façon pour nous d'exporter cette géométrie dans d'autres applications 3D.

I dont think it looks very good. I'd say its equally easy to make one in 3d max, but still, I would prefer sculpting my asteroids in 3D Coat. Not all in the scene, but those closest to camera. Rest could be made with modifiers.
Tho it's true that terragen makes nice asteroids, but if you're after specific shape, i'd still possibly go for a sculpt..
It's a nice tutorial idea wise tho.

That was a cool tutorial, bla_bla.  Nearly forgot to say something.  Thanks Freelancah.
