The more I looked into it, the more it seemed like a play toy...or maybe I just can't think of a way to use it for anything practical.

This looks really interesting! I've been looking for software that uses picometry for 3D modeling. I will definitely look into this when I get the time. Thank you very much for sharing this calico. :)

Picometry is a lot cheaper than using laser instruments. And it produces textures automatically. Does this have correction abilities for the geometry as well?
