Title: Flu delerium render
Post by: Henry Blewer on March 29, 2011, 08:00:59 AM
I finished the last crop render last night. I made this with a wonderful 102F body temp Friday afternoon. All I could think of was how I was either too hot or shivering...

Has a nice Maxfield Parrish quality in the cliffs.
I think the long bare trunk trees have the conformation of ones
growing in thick forest, where they are forced to grow tall and thin seeking light
and many species self prune lower branches from lack of light.
Placed in wide open country the long branchless trunks look just a little out of place to my eye.

I think the plants are all out of scale myself. Part of the cause of this is a poor camera location...

I like the rocks and and lighting especially, Henry. Keep on working on this one!

I changed the POV for this render. I think the only solution is to re-work the tree pops.

great job Henry, and I agree with Ulco, excellent light and terrain, still the trees seem a little too large?

Looks quite nice. I like the displacements you made here. The light adds to the mood too
