Was 'busy' Stumbling when I found this site of nature 'photos' (http://ciracar.com/gorgeous-nature).
It's great to see some CG refered to as 'nature' when browsing the web. ;)
Most notably from here is probably this...

Who made this render again? I remember it from here a while back. Another one(with a Moon in shot) is definitely TG and there's some Vue there, too.
Well done! That's what it's all about! :D
Or am I confused and it's actually a photo that was in an open discussion thread here?
There are several ways i can tell this is a photograph.
The clouds have blends of white and grey.
Cloud lighting.
Edge turbulence of certain clouds.
The obvious random jpeg artifacts.
Colors in the terrain.
Courtesy of Tineye.com I found the original photo:

This will be a fun landscape to try using Terragen 2.
The lighting does seem to be a photograph...let us know if anyone finds out differently.
Was sure I'd seen someone here posting this before, my memory served me wrong with assuming that it was a render, though. Sorry. Must've been one of those 'Wish I could do this in TG' posts or something.
I'm still sure there's at least one TG and one Vue image in that page.
It seems this one is Vue , DandelO :)

And this one, I think. The feathery clouds kind of give them away. http://www.ciracar.com/img/nature/gorgeous_nature/gorgeous_nature63.jpg
