Yeah, I'm looking into it now and had the same conclusion: too big an image embedded. :P I'm mucking around in the SQL right now to hopefully resolve it...

Heh, yeah, removing the image (over 4MB!) fixed it. It's great that DeviantArt lets you upload obscenely large images, but best to keep the file size down in here. ;) You'll want to edit your last message to put an image link back in there as I had to remove it to fix the issue.

How can you upload such a big file? If I try something of 501 kB it's rejected...

It wasn't uploaded it was embedded. You can link to images from other sites and display them in-line with the image button (not using attachments).

Ah, that makes sense, have to try that some day.

Sure, just not with 4MB images. ;) It can help you get around the file size limitations here yes, but since it's embedded it auto-loads every time someone loads the thread, even if they don't actually want to see the image (say they've already seen it for example). So in a discussion thread where an image like that is posted in say the 1st post, whenever someone views or responds to that thread from the 1st page, they'll load that image automatically. Rather inefficient.

That also makes sense, I'll stick to the old way.
